"Connect Broadband Connection" Screen -- Virus or ??
I have been getting a popup in the middle of my screen regarding a broadband connection while I am on the internet. The timing varies from 30 seconds or so to a few minutes in between popups. If I click on "cancel" it goes away, but comes back. The heading is "Connect Broadband Connection" and it asks for my user name and password. At the bottom of the screen are the choices: Connect, Cancel, Properties and Help. It is only on this computer. I am running XP with SP3, connected to the internet through our cable provider. I have AVG virus software. If anyone has any suggestions or knowledge of what this is, I would appreciate the info. I also have a screen shot of this, but don't see any way to post it. Thanks!1 person needs an answerI do too

Use Task Manager to see what is running when you get this popup. Also do some thorough scanning for malware. AVG alone is inadequate for this.http://www.elephantboycomputers.com/page2.html#Removing_MalwareMS-MVP - Elephant Boy Computers - Don't Panic!
